Happy New Era!

Masters of Succession New Era Card 2013

The image made this summer with MoS collaborators and Lisa Shafir. She does magic with iphone Awesome Camera ap (chroma filter).

The dancer was embodying a character from a parallel society tribe living in deep air and light filled underwater caves. At this moment of her exploitative journey she breaks through the water ceiling after 2 years of trying and hesitating. She is drying off and emerging after her adaptation. Initially our climate is an intense atmospheric overload. During her long journey underwater fish scales covered her as nourishment and protection. Now in the sun they dry into a diaphanous gown.  The blue fabric seems like an umbilical cord– or a breathing mechanism underwater.  Maybe she is here to help make the new calendar?? hummm.  The story is unfolding.
